Cisco Phone Voicemail Password Reset Document Information
Document Version: 03 Last Update: May 05, 2024 Description: This document describes how to reset a user’s Voicemail Password within the Cisco Unity Connection Manager. Procedure: This procedure reflects the status of the Cisco Unified Communications Environment at the time that this document was last updated: 1.) Login to the Self Care Portal by going to https://admcucm01.admin.hatboro-horsham.org/ucmuser/. Your username and password will be the same Network ID and password that you use to login to School District computers. 2.) Once in the Self Care Portal, click on the voicemail tab. 3.) In the Voicemail Tab, navigate to the Launch Voicemail Inbox section of the page. Click on the Launch Voicemail Inbox button. It will launch a new webpage called Cisco Personal Communications Assistant. 4.) Sign in using your District Credentials. 5.) Once logged in, click on Web Inbox. 6.) Once you click on Web Inbox it will launch your Cisco Unity Connection Web Inbox. You will then click on settings. 7.) Once in Setting, you will navigate to the top of the webpage and click the drop-down menu where it says Passwords. Click on Change PIN. 8.) Enter a PIN that you will remember. Confirm the new PIN number. 9.) You Can now use your new PIN to access your voicemail on your phone.

Adobe Creative Cloud and Default PDF Application Settings
Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Application To install Adobe Applications please launch the Adobe Creative Cloud Shortcut on your desktop. The Creative Cloud Desktop Application will launch. Please use your school district (@hatboro-horsham.org) email address at the sign in prompt. IMPORTANT: You must select Company or School Account. You can choose the applications to install from the list. These will take some time to install, but each user will be able to add or update the software they need on their device. Set Adobe Acrobat as default PDF editor. Press the windows key and type “Default Apps.” Select “Choose default apps by file type.” Scroll down to “.pdf” Select the icon next to PDF and select the Default Application you would like to use Adobe Acrobat DC will provide the most functionality and allows editing of PDF files

Document Information Title: How to Procedure Template Document Version: 01 Last Update: July 21, 2017 Description: This document describes how to access the Hatboro-Horsham School District Software Center to access approved software for your computer. Procedure: This procedure reflects the status of SCCM at the time that this document was last updated: 1.) Upon logging into your computer, click the Search bar near your start menu. 2.) Type in “Software Center” to search for the School District Software portal. 3.) Click the Software Center to launch the portal. Within a few seconds you will see a list of software which you are eligible to download and install onto your computer. 4.) Select the application which you would like to install by clicking on the icon or name. 5.) Next Click on “Install” to initiate the installation of that application. 6.) After the application has been successfully installed, your status will change to “Installed” and you will have the option to uninstall it at a later time if you desire. 7.) You can now click on “Applications” to go back to the list of available software and choose another application to install. 8.) At the list of Applications, you can click the icon at the top right to change your view to be “list view” for easier sorting.

Document Information Title: How to Backup Chrome, Edge, Firefox Bookmarks Document Version: 01 Last Update: May 13, 2023 Description: This document describes how to export and import favorites and bookmarks in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Procedure: How to Export Favorites in Edge: 1. Open Microsoft Edge. 2. Click the Favorites (star) button. 3. Click the More options (three‐dotted) button and select the Manage favorites or Open Favorites page option. 4. Click the More options (three‐dotted) button from the top‐right and select the Export favorites option. 5. Select a folder location such as a OneDrive folder. 6. Specify a descriptive name for the exported file. 7. Click the Save button. Once you complete the steps, all your favorites will export to an HTML file that you can save as a backup and import it to the same or different browser. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------How to Import Favorites in Edge: You can also access the settings to import bookmarks by following the previous steps but choosing Import instead. Click the Favorites (star) button (Ctrl + Shift + O keyboard shortcut) in the address bar, and then click Favorites (three‐dotted) option, and selecting the Import favorites option. 1. Open Microsoft Edge. 2. Click the Favorites (star) button. 3. Click the More options (three‐dotted) button and select the Open Favorites page or Manage Favorites option. 4. Click the More options (three‐dotted) button from the top‐right and select the Import favorites option. 5. At the Import browser data screen, select Choose what to import to continue. 6. Select Favorites or bookmarks HTML file and then click on Choose File to locate the HTML file that you exported previously. 7. Click Open to import your saved favorites, and if successful, you will be notified that your Favorites have been imported into Microsoft Edge. How to Export Bookmarks in Chrome: 1. Open Chrome and click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the window. 2. Click on “Bookmarks.” 3. Next, click on “Bookmark Manager” 4. Click on the three vertical dots across from the ‘Search bookmarks’ field. 5. Click on “Export bookmarks.” 6. Finally, in the next window, make sure that you save the bookmarks file to an accessible location such as a OneDrive folder then click the “Save” button. How to Import Bookmarks in Chrome: 1. Open Google Chrome and click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the browser window. 2. Click on Bookmarks and then Import bookmarks and settings. 3. Next, the Import bookmarks and settings menu, choose Bookmarks HTML File. 4. Click on Choose File to continue. 5. Choose the saved file which you exported previously, and then click on Open to continue. Your bookmarks will be successfully imported. How to Export Bookmarks in Firefox: 1. Open Firefox and click on the three bars in the right‐hand corner of the window to open the Bookmarks menu. 2. Click Manage bookmarks towards the bottom of the menu to continue. 3. In the Bookmarks Library, click on Import and Backup. Then, select Export Bookmarks to HTML. 4. In the next window, make sure that you save your bookmarks file to an accessible location such as OneDrive. Click Save to continue. How to Import Bookmarks into Firefox: 1. Open Firefox and click on the three bars in the right‐hand corner of the window to open the Bookmarks menu. 2. Click Manage bookmarks towards the bottom of the menu to continue. 3. In the Bookmarks Library, click on Import and Backup. Then, select Import Bookmarks from HTML. 4. In the next window, locate the file to which you exported your books and click Open to continue. 5. Procedure: This procedure reflects the status of Creative Cloud at the time that this document was last updated: 1.) Go to the “Type here to search” box on the lower left tool bar of you screen next to the Microsoft symbol: 2.) Type in “Software Center” and hit enter: 3.) Once Software Center launches, look under the Application tab to find Creative Cloud. Click on Creative Cloud to continue. 4) Click on Install: 4.) Adobe Creative Cloud will download and install onto your device. This process will take some time depending on your computer. When the installation is complete, the Adobe Creative Cloud icon will appear: 5.) Click on the Creative Cloud icon and you will be prompted to Sign In using your HHSD account: 6.) If you are prompted, select Use Company or School Account to continue: 7.) When the application completes the sign in process, you will see the Adobe applications that are available and licensed for use. You may click Install or Update on any application that is compatible with your device.

Correcting Connection Issues w/Dock and L13 Gen 3 laptops

Document Version: 01 Last Update: May 24, 2023 Description: This document describes how to set up Smartboard connections with new ThinkPad Yoga L13 Gen 3. Procedure: This procedure reflects the status of connection issues with Dock 40AS and ThinkPad Yoga L13 Gen 3 at the time that this document was last updated: 1.) Using your IT laptop – connect to the dock via USB-C cable. 2.) Go to support.lenovo.com and search for the laptop model you are working on. 3.) Select drivers and software. a. ADVANCED FIRMWARE – download Firmware for Windows 11 (64-bit) – ThinkPad USB-C Dock Gen 2 drivers. b. AUDIO - Download Audio Drivers for Docks & Realtek USB Audio for Docking Station for Windows 11 (Version 21H2 or later, 10 (64-bits) ThinkPad. c. SOFTWARE & UTILITIES – download Generic DisplayLink Driver for USB Docks and Adapters for Windows 10, 11 (64-bit). 4.) Disconnect IT laptop and connect user’s laptop. 5.) Check to make sure there are no Graphics drivers needed. If there are, update the drivers. 6.) If Smartboard is still not connecting to laptop via the Dock, go to SETTING > SYSTEM > DISPLAY > ADVANCED DISPLAY > Choose the Smartboard settings > Click on Display Adapter properties for Display 2 (or whatever number display the Smartboard is) and change the refresh rate to 30 or 48 Hz. 7.) Reboot laptop and Smartboard.

ID Badge Maintenance for Employees is now being handled through the Technology Department’s Ticketing System. Requesting a Replacement ID Badge: 1) Go to https://hhsd.freshservice.com Click “Login” in the Upper Right Corner 2) Click “Request a Service” 3) Select “ID Badge – Replacement” 4) Enter Full Employee Name “First Name + Last Name” 5) Enter Employee ID Number 6) Enter your current Job Title 7) Enter the Building where you would like the badge delivered to 8) “Attach a File” is required, you must provide a current headshot to receive a replacement ID badge.

Document Information Title: How to Send and Receive a Fax Document Version: 01 Last Update: October 28, 2022 Description: This document describes how to send and receive a fax using the eFax Messenger application. Procedure: This procedure reflects the status of faxing services at the time that this document was last updated: 1.) Open eFax Messenger from your Start Menu or Desktop. 2.) At the login screen, you will need to enter your fax number and password which was provided. 3.) Upon successful login, the main eFax Messenger dashboard will appear. 4.) Click on View Faxes to retrieve any documents that have been faxed to this number. You will be presented with a view like the figure below. New faxes will be shown in boldface. 5.) Select the fax that you would like to view and double click on the document to open it. 6.) Once the fax is open you can forward the fax via Email, Forward it via Fax to another number, Export the fax to a digital document (either .tiff or .pdf), Print the fax, or delete the fax completely by using the buttons at the top of the ribbon. 7.) When finished with the fax, you can exit the view by choosing the Close button at the top right corner of the fax. 8.) To send a fax, click on the Compose a Fax button on the dashboard or the New Fax button in the top left corner of the application. 9.) This will launch a new fax template that you can complete. 10.) In the To section, enter the fax number of the recipient(s) that you are sending the fax to. Press Enter to continue. 11.) The Reference ID section is optional and can be used if an identifier is necessary to track the submitted fax. 12.) In the Subject section, enter the title of your fax. 13.) In the Attention section, enter the recipient that the fax is destined. 14.) Finally, in the optional Company section, enter the company name of the recipient. 15.) The Cover Sheet should reflect the entered information. You can also customize the Cover Letter text by double clicking in the Cover Message text box and entering any text that is necessary in the Cover Letter. 16.) Click the + sign to create another page for the fax. You will be presented with three options. Choose Blank Page to continue with a simple blank page that can be customized later. Alternatively, if you have an image, you can choose Import Image to continue. 17.) If you chose a Blank Page, you can use the Insert Image or Add Textbox buttons to customize the page as desired. 18.) Alternatively, you can choose Attach File to locate and attach a previous document such as a .tiff file or a .pdf document that was created outside of eFax Messenger, but you want to send to your recipient. 19.) When you are satisfied with the layout of your fax, simply click the Send Fax button to send the fax to the intended recipient. 20.) You can close the application when you have completed your fax. 21.) Subsequent uses of the application will automatically remember your username and password for easier access in the future.

How To Reconfigure Food Service Number Pads
Document Information Title: How to Reconfigure Food Service Number Pads Document Version: 01 Last Update: July 26, 2022 Description: This document describes how to reconfigure the number pads used at the food services computers if they will not apply input into eTrition. Error received on Food Services computer when selecting “Serve Breakfast” or “Serve Lunch.” Steps to Resolve Issue: 1. Open Notepad on device and then try typing numbers on keypad and pressing Enter. If any numbers show up in Notepad then proceed to Step 2. 2. Unplug number pad from device. You will then hold down the Clear and Enter keys simultaneously while plugging number pad back into device. 3. Release Clear and Enter buttons after number pad is plugged back into device and powered on. You will then choose option 1. This will reconfigure number pad to use a virtual port. 4. If open, close eTrition completely and then log back into eTrition to make sure change is applied. 5. Once logged into eTrition go to settings and make sure that Input Device settings match those in the picture below. 6. If any changes need to be made on the page above, then you will need to close out of eTrition again and reopen for the changes to be applied. 7. Choose the school and line number then choose “Serve Breakfast” or “Serve Lunch.” 8. Test number pad by entering a student ID number and pressing Enter. If it opens a student’s account, then the number pad has been successfully reconfigured. 9. Select Cancel in the student’s account so no charges are added and then exit eTrition.
